The beginning of the Sharkobos species:

Millions of years ago, while humans were still in the process of evolution, there was a small group of them that separated from the rest and continued their evolutionary path under the sea.

This species eventually became a lost branch of humans, developing unique characteristics that allowed them to live an entire life submerged. Over time, they managed to consolidate civilizations in several points and expand massively around the entire ocean of the planet.

Lifestyle of Sharkobos:

They are characterized by living in large and small shoals with a very marked hierarchy that varies by area, living in caves or infrastructures built on the sea floor. They are accustomed to collecting objects thrown on the bottom to recondition them and give them another use. Sharkobos live at different depths, from 1,200 meters to the deepest part of the ocean.

Each shoal has a king whose role is to ensure the welfare of the members of his village, this role is inherited from generation to generation, so the royal lineage is never lost. Sharkobos are very territorial, so they often attack intruders from outside herds with which they don't have an alliance. They are characterized by being protective of their home and their people, they don't trust anyone who isn't part of their shoal.

They celebrate holidays, birthdays and certain traditions. One of the most important celebrations in their lives occurs when they turn 10 years old, during that age they obtain an ability that will accompany them for the rest of their lives, this event will define much of their future, because depending on what ability they obtained, opportunities for certain positions/occupations will be opened or closed.

There are a wide variety of occupations/jobs that these beings engage in. Mostly, the decision on what to dedicate themselves to depends to a great extent on the skill they developed. The list of skills is indefinite and continues to grow over the years, approximately 3 new skills are discovered per year.

They have an average life expectancy of 350 years, this life rate is reduced for Sharkobos that have a nomadic lifestyle (a solitary life, without home and far from shoals). Their diet is varied, they can eat meat or vegetables from the sea such as: algae, fish, penguins, seals and others of the same species. They obtain their food through hunting, agriculture and algae gathering.

They have a commerce system based on the coral currency, which is used to buy food, services, objects, houses, etc. Although not all shoals use this currency, it is the most popular in the whole ocean.

This species is ovoviviparous and reproduces sexually by internal fertilization. The females, after being fertilized, form an egg inside them that will develop for a period of 10 months in the mother's womb. When the offspring completes its development process, the mother will expel it so that it can break its shell and hatch.

Humans and Sharkobos:

Recently, humans have discovered Sharkobos, an unknown species that has been evolving in the deep sea for millions of years. They have many similarities with humans, so it is rumored to be a lost branch of evolution. Different studies are still being carried out, but it has not been possible to have direct contact with them because of how violent they are.

This is why humans have designed underwater drones that go undetected by sharkobos and withstand extremely high pressures, with the purpose of observing them closely and performing the corresponding analysis and scans.

It is expected that there are thousands of races of this species at present, and as new races are discovered, they are assigned a category according to certain parameters and metrics. This discovery has been quite a stir worldwide, it has become almost an undeclared competition among marine biologists to see who discovers the strangest race of all.

Studies will continue to seek to learn more about this species, their history and the lifestyle they lead. However, will humans be able to coexist with Sharkobos?

This is only the beginning of a gigantic discovery...

Currently, sharkobos are classified by:
1. Physical characteristics.
2. Oceans to which they belong.

The rarity classifications that exist until now are: (from lowest to highest)

"C, B, A, A+, E, E+, R, R+, S, S+"

3. Depth of the sea in which they live.

4. Population density.

5. Ability.

Thank you very much for reading !! This Lore is in development, eventually it will continue to grow and expand.

I plan to add in the future:

-Comic panels in which sharkobos that you bought may appear to explain the lore.

-Map of the shoals of sharkobos.

-Narrative visual.

-Giveaways.

-Events.
